Sorry, kids. This little liberal is defecting. McCain 2008 and Clinton in 2012.

yea, that's *real* smart, anonymous. maybe we'll stay in a stupid war we should never have been in for 100 years, women's rights will go down the drain and we'll have four more years (at least) of bush-lite.

that's gonna show 'um!

Hi Jeep, don't try the "women's rights" argument with me. Hillary wanted to codify women's reproductive rights, which is but one of many reasons why I so strongly support her. What does Obama have to offer other than a vacuous ad campaign?

Obama offers only "change," which thus far consists of tea for terrorists and hanging out with the leader of a belligerent Islamic theocracy that hangs teenagers and murders homosexuals. Obama's foreign policy advisers are rabid anti-Semites, and if you actually bother to read the Jewish conspiracy theories and related filth on his official website, you might discover that so are many of his followers. Sorry, but I can't vote for that.

Screw the holier-than-thou DNC "superdelegates" who think they can tell me who to vote for. I'm defecting. How's that for "change"?

Hillary in 2012.

Sounds like Republican troll posting to me.

Why just today I had a creepy gay guy tell me I was sexist because I supported Obama. Pathetic.

as i said anonymous, you're gonna show 'um". nobody can tell YOU who to vote for. you're better than THAT.

i hope the country makes it to 2012 if your mccain becomes prez. and i hope you don't have children in that war over there, either...for your sake or theirs. because if mccain has his way, they'll be over there a LOOOOOONG time. but dammit, hillary's out, so put mccain in. he'll do a bang up job. you just sit tight until 2012.

As one of the Hillary faithful, I'll be voting Obama in November. I can't get all starry eyed about Obama, but anonymous seems to be ignoring that we have to think about Supreme Court appointees.

Right now I am just hoping that Ms. Clinton goes out and campaigns and campaigns hard to get a democrat in the White House.

Well, I'm not only hoping McCain wins, but that Huckabee is VP. That way our kids will stop learning useless science and finally be taught that the world is only 6000 years old (McCain was there, so he can verify). Then hopefully they will establish an internment camp for homosexuals (much like in WWII or Gitmo now, except for FABULOUS!). Right now, equality for homosexuals is gaining a dangerous momentum. PHOOEY! If homosexuality is accepted, how will we repress our teenage ostracism with hilariously catty remarks in order to make ourselves feel better? No, thanks! Give me locker room smackdowns and awkward silences when my parents ask me who I'm dating ANYDAY over "acceptance" and "equal rights."

And I agree with Anonymous about foreign policy--Obama advocates drinking tea with terrorists and hanging with leaders of belligerent Islamic theocracies. If we've learned nothing else, drinking tea and hanging leads only to useless "peace" and "shared understanding" and "education" and "less death." PHOOEY! Talking with people who disagree with you in order to gain (and give) a better understanding thereby enabling people to resolve differences peaceably would only embolden newscasters to report on other things besides endless and unjust wars, like Obama's stupid notion that reducing our dependence on foreign oil is a good thing for the environment and our economy. PHOOEY! Give me $6 a gallon poison-emission gasoline any day! In fact, I'm going to run donuts around a muddy field in my Hummer while shooting my rifle straight into the air and impregnating my cousin.

That's what smart people do. That, and vote for McCain.

Yeah Anonymous- way to show up and ruin the party.

To serg: No, if Huckabee is VP, then I'll just stay home and not vote at all. Lol - there are limits, and he's one of them. I'm hoping McCain will pick a RINO ("Republican in Name Only").

I wouldn't worry too much about the court. Conservative appointees tend to drift leftward (or at least crossover).

Thanks to all for the groupthink attack. Makes the painful decision to defect a little easier.

Dear Anonymous (I love that name! Is it Greek?),

Just to be clear--no GroupThink here, buddy. My thoughts are 100% Serg (though I plan to borrow that "RINO" label, which is so adorably new to me, since, as a good Cuban-American boy should, I checked the Repub box when I registered at age 18 (just one or two short years ago, mind you)).

And please be sure you read this dialogue as encouragement, not as an attempt to change your mind. Personally (and I speak only for myself, not for the Group in this Think), there are certain minds I would prefer not to change, as I'd be reluctant to be caught agreeing with them.

If anyone needs me, I'll be at the re-pub, re-toasting to a possible McCain re-tread of re-Bush ideas.

Cheers, queers.
