HIV Stops With Me Launches Massive Campaign

14th st. & 8th Ave. Subway station:
Campaign launched by HIVSTOPSWITHME.ORG

Suddenly my morning commute was confronted by these huge unavoidable billboards hanging everywhere in the subway station. I commend the organization- I think this is a great and confrontational effort.

Saw these just before leaving NY earlier this week, and was struck by the in your faceness of it all. An excellent campaign.

The PC Mainstream queer culture again decides for us what is appropriate.. If I don't like it, or it talks too much about sex, or might actually point out that sex and HIV are linked.. then we can label it fear based and write it off. As an older HIV+ man, I think both of these "fear based" campaigns were/are great and encourage you to speak your own voice and tell the assimilationists to shove it up their ass... or not as the case may be.
