The wonderful group that is Improv Everywhere executes another sociopathic prank in New York by freezing within the rush-rush crowd of Grand Central Station. Participants were to freeze for 5 minutes at the exact same time. Fantastic!

OMG! I wonder if the people taking pictures of this realize that still photography really isn't going to capture the essence of this since everyone in the pictures IS STILL!
Amazing! Thanks for posting this.
Why do I always miss these things?

Only in NYC. What great vitality. Thanks for posting.

This reminds me of a game I would play when I was a child. When we were at Grandma & Grandpa's house for any family gathering, the kids would go outside and play "Statue." Each kid would take turns being the "Judge". When you yelled go, everyone ran, tumbled, and did any sort of crazy movement. When the judge yelled FREEZE, s/he would go around and pick the best "Statue".
Man, we'd play that game for hours and hours....and then get in trouble for all the grass stains on our clothes.
Ah....memories!
